Erasmus+ Opportunities for Higher Education & VET Sectors

Purpose: National Erasmus+ Office in Georgia organized an information and peer-learning event for organisations active in the Higher Education (HE) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) sectors.

The full day event featured information sessions covering the available Erasmus+ actions for HE and VET sectors, followed by dedicated peer-learning and panel discussions, where successful Georgian projects shared practical examples and insights on project development, from planning, partner search mechanisms, implementation and impact.

In the Panel Discussion Zaza Tsiramua, form Georgian Technical University presented Erasmus + project:  MICRO-GEAR - Micro-credentials for Higher Education systems of Georgia and Armenia: South Caucasus lighthouse project.

On July 24, Erasmus+ National Office organized an event for the higher and vocational education sectors

The information part of the event covered the following topics:

  • Capacity building for the higher education sector
  • Virtual exchanges for the higher education sector
  • Cooperative partnerships for the higher and vocational education sectors
  • Financial management
  • Capacity building for the vocational education and training sector

During the peer-learning sessions, attendees had the opportunity to hear the experiences of the winning projects.
