Final Conference of the Micro-GEAR Project

The Micro-Gear Project will host its official final conference on November 5, 2026, at the Georgian Technical University in Tbilisi.

This high-profile, policy-level event will bring together up to 100 regional and international participants. The core of the conference features an interactive Policy Panel that brings together key educational decision-makers: Regional Ministries of Education and Science, National Education Quality Enhancement Centers, European higher education experts, regional- and country-level HEIs, Alternative learning providers, and socio-economic stakeholders.

The final conference acts as a multi-party platform targeting three strategic areas of development:

  • Sharing Project Achievements: Informing partner academic communities, university leadership, and government agencies across Armenia and Georgia about milestones reached toward integrating micro-credentials into higher and vocational education frameworks.
  • Facilitating Policy Dialogue: Driving forward multi-party national dialogues to synthesize practical experiences across all stages of micro-credentialing, directly feeding into evidence-based policy making.
  • Supporting Educational Transition: Disseminating project outcomes to support a modern, flexible educational model, strengthening the long-term sustainability of HEIs and TVET/CVET providers.
