Project meeting in Tbilisi: 5 June 2025

Within the framework of the EU-funded Micro-GEAR project another successful working meeting was held at Georgian Technical University.


As part of the Micro-credentials for Higher Education Systems of Georgia and Armenia project, a key regional hybrid workshop took place to advance the development and recognition of micro-credentials.


The agenda included presentations on the objectives and outcomes of the MICRO-GEAR project, quality assurance mechanisms for micro-credentials, and a roundtable discussion on recognition frameworks with participation from CIMEA, ArmEnic, and NCEQE.


The workshop reinforced regional collaboration and emphasized capacity building to support flexible, innovative, and quality-assured learning pathways in higher education systems across the South Caucasus.
