Technical Assistance Mission (TAM): Introducing Microcredits in the Georgian Higher Education System

The Erasmus+ National Office in Georgia is organizing a Technical Assistance Mission (TAM) on the implementation of micro-credentials in the Georgian higher education system, which will take place on October 12 from 11:00 to 18:00. The event will be held online via Google Meet.

General objective is to promote the development of a coherent, quality-oriented and trustworthy microcredit ecosystem in Georgia by linking the principles of the European Union and the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) to the Georgian higher education context, as well as by defining practical approaches to issues such as: quality assurance, recognition, ECTS/study load, flexible learning pathways, relevance to labor market requirements and institutional implementation.

Tamar Onoprienko, project Coordinator of the Micro-GEAR project, will participate in the Technical Assistance Mission (TAM) and present the Micro-GEAR project, including its objectives, activities and contribution to the development of micro-credentials in Georgia.
